WHAT IS ARTISTS RUN THIS PLANET?
Artists Run This Planet is a website that shines a light on artists and lets the world know about them. It gives artists the power of perspective, some publicity documenting their work, and something that can be found in search engines and easily shared across social media. Every feature is treated like a work of art in itself because artists create them.

HOW FEATURES ARE WRITTEN:
When we feature an artist on our website we start by researching them. We see what comes up in internet searches, we explore their website, pages, YouTube channel, internet profiles and any press they might already have. If they make music we listen to it. If they write poetry we read it. If they paint, we look at their paintings. (If they're a novelist, we may not be able to read their whole book but we'll read something) We take in as much of an artist's work as we can to figure out what they are doing and what they are communicating. We then write about them and their work. We tell their story in a way most "critics" or "reviewers" won't. Our purpose in writing about artists is to find the very best about them and present that to the world. We don't become a critic. We become a fan. We know how hard it is to be an artist at all, dealing with all of the criticism and "advice," and don't want to focus on the out-points when we can focus on all of the plus-points. We say, "wow, look at this artist making all of this art!" We write from that perspective and the result is an article that is honest, enlightening and full of admiration.

If you are interested please send us an email with your name, links to your work, pictures you'd like us to use, and anything else you think we should have. Please understand that we are very selective and will not write a feature on everyone that submits. It may also take a while until a feature appears.
